As it is very well known, teas are an amazing beverage to include in our diet. They are good to boost our metabolism, to control our weight, are so flavourful and delicious😋😋 Therefore, I have compile enough information to make a TOP 10 TEA TYPES and their benefits. 🙌💜

 ⇒But first, a lil bit of history jiji:
❌Tea is an aromatic beverage commonly prepared by pouring hot or boiling water over cured leaves of the Camellia sinensis, an evergreen shrub (bush) native to Asia. After water, it is the most widely consumed drink in the world. There are many different types of tea with plenty of benefits.
Tea originated in Southwest China, where it was used as a medicinal drink. It was popularized as a recreational drink during the Chinese Tang dynasty, and tea drinking spread to other East Asian countries. Portuguese priests and merchants introduced it to Europe during the 16th century.During the 17th century, drinking tea became fashionable among Britons, who started large-scale production and commercialization of the plant in India to bypass the Chinese monopoly. Combined, China and India supplied 62% of the world's tea in 2016.❌

1. GREEN TEA:

Tea is rich in polyphenols that have effects like reducing inflammation and helping to fight cancer.
Green tea is about 30 % polyphenols by weight, including large amounts of a catechin called EGCG. Catechins are natural antioxidants that help prevent cell damage and provide other benefits. These substances can reduce the formation of free radicals in the body, protecting cells and molecules from damage. These free radicals are known to play a role in aging and all sorts of diseases.

This gorgeous tea treats bloating,acne and allergies; boosts metabolism, promotes weight loss.


2.  MATCHA:

This one burns belly fat, detoxifies our bodies and is a perfect inmunity booster.

It also improves cardiovascular disorder because of containing flavonoids, as substance associated with decreased risk of heart problems.

It is recommended due to its antioxidant properties which help with advancedment in age (antiaging) and it also helps in maintaining healthy and youthful skin.

4. PEPPERMINT TEA:

It helps to improve digestion and reduce pain and inflammation. It also relaxes the body and mind, cures bad breath, aids in weight loss, and boosts the immune system.

It reduces bloating (it is has been proven effective at relieving gas) and cold and upsets stomach and sore throat. 

Protects against Alzheimer disease by slowing down the loss of brain cells.

Ginger may help keep you feeling full, suppressing your appetite and ultimately reducing your daily calorie intake.

Researches also suggest that can be helpful at keeping blood glucose levels (sugar levels) in check. 

6. BLACK TEA:

It has been discovered that this tea is great for treating anxiety, weight loss and headache.

 Black tea is also full of healthy substances called polyphenols. Polyphenols are antioxidants that can help protect your cells from DNA damage.
specific antioxidants in tea, including polyphenols and catechins, may help prevent some types of cancer . Some research shows that women who regularly drink black tea have a much lower risk of ovarian cancer than women who do not.
Increasing evidence hints that the antioxidants in black tea may reduce atherosclerosis (clogged arteries), especially in women. It may also help lower the risk of heart attack  and cardiovascular disease.

7. HIBISCUS TEA:

This magical tea, also known as Agua de Jamaica, manages the blood pressure as it lowers the blood pressure in pre-hypertensive and mildly hypertensive adults. 

It helps to lower the levels of (bad) LDL cholesterol from the body, thereby helping to protect against heart diseases and protecting blood vessels from being damaged.

The hibiscus leaf is rich in ascorbic acid, also known as vitamin C which is an essential nutrient required by your body to boost and stimulate the activity of the immune system, providing  this tea antibacterial and anti-inflamatory properties.


8. CHAI TEA:

Due to its high content in antioxidants it helps to fight free radicals, so it helps with cardiovascular protection.
It is also great for fighting halitosis, inflammation and cold. Moreover, it enhances inmune system.
And, some components of it boost metabolism and improves your digestion, helping you to lose weight.


9. OOLONG TEA:

It promotes weight loss and boosts metabolism:
- It helps increasing the energetic consume
- it is good for metabolizing fats
- it also helps with the burnt of fats
- it is high in antioxidants, as polifenoles, which are great for losing weight


10. CHAMOMILE TEA:

It is extremly benefitial for inducing  sleep, headache, anxiety.

It has great benefits for bloating because of having anti-inflammatory properties that help ease the twisting nature of your gut and allow gas passing  and smoother bowel movements.

Besides it is useful for people who suffer from diabetes by regulating the amount of insulin in blood. 





Remember to ALWAYS include tea in your diet, and here´s a trick for those of you who are on a diet:
If you think you are hungry, make yourself a tea first and wait for 10 mins; if after that you still not fulfill, then eat.
